Moon Filters are economical eyepiece filters for reducing the brightness of the moon and improving contrast, so greater detail can be observed on the lunar surface.
The clear aperture is 21mm for the 1.25" filter. Transmission is about 18%.

• Use to make your own front-mounted solar filters for finderscopes, telescopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, or large camera lenses. Not for use with solar viewer cards or glasses for unmagnified views of the Sun.
• With AstroSolar Film the Sun appears in its real color - neutral white (with a slight bluish tint). Other films and glass filters produce a blurry bluish or reddish/orange/yellow solar image which is not the natural color of the Sun!
